Abrasion Resistant Coating Solutions

Abrasion Proofer

ABP-300 - Nanotechnological Coating

ABP-300 Abrasion Proofer is a very unique high-build abrasion and impact proof coating.  This extraordinarily durable coating technology is a true break though in the anti-abrasion technology.    ABP-300 contains nano-sized particles of polymer that is graphed with a unique alloy that creates pure solid lubricant particulate.  This leading edge coating is impervious to UV degradation, chemical attack, chlorides, acids, hydrocarbons and freeze thaw cycles.  The lubricant particulates provide unseen anti-stick and abrasion resistant characteristics that last up to 50 years.

The metallic-polymer complex offers abrasion resistance that is approximately fifty times the resistance of metal itself.  ABP-300 is applied by heated plural spray equipment.  The time is generally 25 second to 3 minutes depending on formula and application parameters.

ADVANTAGES

  • Abrasion and impact proof
  • Lifetime anti-stick and lubrication characteristics
  • Dry and clean lubrication, not affected by dust, dirt and humidity
  • No aging, evaporation, oxidation
  • Outstanding Hydrophobic and Oleophobic surface properties
  • Highly flexible and outstanding impact and abrasion resistance
  • Phenomenally low surface energy and high slip characteristics
  • Highly resistant to attack by hydrocarbons and chemical products
  • Completely insensitive to UV radiation
  • Non flammable dry film
  • Can be applied in a film of controlled thickness
  • Can often replace burnishing, hard chrome, lead plating, cadmium and galvanizing
  • Fully effective even after prolonged shut down
  • Vacuum and radiation resistant
  • Zero VOC and AQMD complaint

SURFACE PREPARATION

Suitable substrates include concrete, block, metal, galvanized metal, aluminum, fiberglass, carbon fiber, wood plexi-glass, glass, mirror, etc. Good surface preparation and cleaning of all substrates to be coated is essential for optimum performance of the coating system. All surfaces to be coated should be clean, dry and free from contaminants.  For old or previously finished surfaces, the degree of preparation and cleaning required is dependent upon the condition of the substrate.
