CPT-201

CPT-201 is a time-proven coating that provides excellent protection to all metal substrates. It leaves a firm film that provides extreme corrosion protection. The film has extreme resistance to salt water and salt spray, making this coating particularly useful in drilling, marine, industrial and offshore corrosion proofing applications. The film dries transparent. CPT-201 provides optimal long-term corrosion protection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals exposed to harsh environments, as it deposits a molecular layer of corrosion inhibitor that creates a durable, long lasting bond. CPT-201 comes in aaersol can format, 5-gal, 55-gal or 278-gal.

No surface preparation, as it will adhere to the pre-rusted, oily and dirty surfaces.

Universal protection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys.
The non-conductive film with high resistivity and insulating properties effectively prevents galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals.
Has moisture-displacing characteristics and penetrating film characteristics
Thermally stable over a broad range of temperatures.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Dipping, spraying or brushing are recommended methods of applying - Film thickness of 2 mils to 5 mils. CPT-201 can be applied over pre-rusted or oily surfaces.
