Corrosion Prevention & Non-stick Performance
20 year Warranty
CORROSION
PROOFER
CPT-310 FLUOROBASE
CPT-310 is a high-performance,
highly fluorinated polyurethane coating formulated for highly corrosive
and abrasive applications. This coating does not allow anything to stick
to it and offers extreme chemical resistance. This product is a two-component,
high solid corrosion preventative system that exhibits outstanding performance
properties. The unique fluorinated polymer makes it impervious to moisture,
weathering, UV degradation and it is highly resistive to hydrocarbons,
corrosion and a wide variety of harsh chemicals.
This high performing inert
coating system will prevent surfaces from corrosion, abrasion and chemical
attack. This coating exhibits outstanding weathering characteristics
and is ideal for limited immersion service on marine, aerospace, architectural,
construction, industrial and automotive equipment. It provides a high
quality finish, and offers world class performance with an expected
life span exceeding 20 years. Use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals,
masonry, timber, fiberglass and carbon fiber.
- Corrosion preventative
- Outstanding Hydrophobic
and Oleophobic surface properties
- Highly flexible
and outstanding impact and abrasion resistance
- Low surface energy
and high slip characteristics
- Highly resistant
to attack by hydrocarbons and chemical products
- Completely insensitive
to UV radiation
For optimum appearance properties
- spray two to three coats to a minimum of 2 mils DFT / 50
microns DFT. Always allow each
coat to "flash off" to a tacked state prior to a following coat.
Can also be spray applied, brushed
or rolled in one coat, unreduced to the recommended DFT.
Must not be applied to surfaces
at ambient temperatures above 35C / 95F. For optimum application properties,
the temperature of the material should be between 10C and 25C / 50F
and 80F prior to mixing and application. Apply the coating only when
the surface temperature is more than 5F or 3C above the dew point temperature
of the surrounding air and relative humidity is below 85%, in order
to prevent moisture condensation on the surface.
MIXING & ACTIVATION
Mixing ratio 2:1 by volume (2
parts base to 1 part activator)
Reduction: T-102 - Slow reducer
T-059 - Fast reducer
Spray Viscosity: 21-25 seconds

CPT-310 is a two component
coating system supplied in two separate containers. Part A is the base
and Part B is the activator. Prior to activation, Base component (Part
A) must be thoroughly mixed by mechanical agitation. Following agitation,
with a paint stick, ensure all settled material is removed from the
can bottom. After activation of Component A and Component B together,
agitate for approximately 1-2 minutes. Reduce activated CPT-310 to a
maximum of 15% if required with recommended reducer and use immediately.
CPT-310 requires no induction period.
COLORS & FINISHES:
White, Clear and full ranges
of colors are available including metallic and pearlescent finishes.
High Gloss - > 90 / 60 0
Semi-Gloss - 50-60 / 60 0
Low Sheen - 30-40 / 60 0
COVERAGE:
CPT-310 exhibits excellent opacity
and coverage when spray applied. If applying colors by means other than
spray, test opacity over a small section to ensure adequate coverage
prior to general application.

SAFETY & WARNING:
When applying product use an approved NIOSH respirator, approved gloves, skin protection and/or protective clothing and eye protection.
If you scrape, sand, or remove old paint, you may release lead dust or fumes. LEAD IS TOXIC.
EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST OR FUMES CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a properly fitted NIOSH-approved respirator and prevent skin contact to control lead exposure. Clean up carefully with a HEPA vacuum and a wet mop. Before you start, find out how to protect yourself and your family by contacting the USEPA National Lead Information Hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD or log on to www.epa.gov/lead. In Canada contact a regional Health Canada office. Follow these instructions to control exposure to other hazardous substances that may be released during surface preparation.
Spray equipment must be handled with due care and in accordance with manufacturer's recommendation.
High-pressure injection of coatings into the skin by airless equipment may cause serious injury, requiring immediate medical attention at a hospital.
Read all label and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) information prior to use.
